About Paul Robitschek Scholarship website
This website is run by Paul Robitschek alumni and its aim is to promote Robitschek Scholarship and help those who think about applying and to those who were already accepted. This site should be a tribute to the man who started this wonderful program and who let many of us spend an unforgettable year in the United States. Thanks Paul!
There are some previously unpublished documents on this site. For these thanks to Greg Jensen, who helped to establish the scholarship with Paul.
Contributions
Anybody who has anything to do with the scholarship can contribute to this site. You can do so by using the feedback form.
Language
It would be nice if this site could be both in English and Czech. However time is limited. Also the fact is that anybody interested in this scholarship or those who were scholars in the past should have no problem with English. However if you want to ask a question you can do that in Czech.
What is next?
Maybe there should be a private area where alumni could share their contact details. Also video which Martina produced in 2005 could go online. Photo gallery could be provided so new Robitscheks would have a place to put their photos online and share them with the world. Blogs could be hosted on this site and therefore archived forever and a forum could be established for discussions. These are just ideas. Maybe you have some too(?). Let us know!
Advertisements
It costs something to maintain the website and for this reason there are Google Ads on this site to recoup at least some of the cost. These ads should not be obtrusive and potentially could earn us a cent or two. If you want to place your advertisement on this site you can do it in seconds.
Application
Although you may find a lot of useful information on this webstite, to apply for the scholarship you will need to check UNL Admissions' web for up-to-date and official information.
